Native Sun, a hip-hop, soul, and jazz collective

The group began in 2007 with one goal in mind: bridge the gap between jazz, R&B, and hip-hop. Led by wordsmith B Young, the ensemble focuses on delivering a positive message about determination, the trials of life, and being responsible.

Native Sun is a worthwhile project that warrants support. The group endeavors to entertain and inspire audiences without the overused drum loops and studio effects plaguing today’s music. The band is made up of some of the most knowledgeable and innovative musicians in the city.
